| Re: what god wants 1 2 and 3 Part One is, as far as I can tell, about how preachers and other religious leaders use the "word of God" to reinforce their own agendas. The line "God wants sedition, God wants sex, God wants freedom, God wants semtex" presents four conflicting messages which different people (new-agers, freedom-fighters, fundamentalists, terrorists) have claimed were the actual wishes of whatever God they were worshipping... Part Two is the same idea, but this time the only thing on the preacher/leader's mind is getting money from his followers... Part Three is about how, in a society so consumed by greed, money itself has become God and the persuit of it is akin to worship.
Pretty basic ideas... you can work the rest out yourself...
