| Re: Favorite album? I think I can and something to this discussion. I, unlike other Floyd fans, discovered Floyd at 18. In my teenage years I smoked a lot of pot and listened to punk music, floyd to me was pussy rock. Then I heard DSotM, and it all changed. While listening to the album I felt as if I was under the influence, but I was not, it was just the magic that is Floyd. Anyway, I thought Dark Side was the best album ever, and I went out and searched for other floyd albums. It's been 7 years and I am still obsessed with Floyd, but oddly enuf, Dark Side is no longer my fave. As a matter of fact no album is my fave, but rather there are 3 that stick out. WYWH is musically, in my opinion, the best. DSotM is lyrically the best. And The Wall, while I don't believe it is a great album, works as a great narrative. The movie is even better then the album.
