ok, maybe meaning was the wrong word to use.... perhaps a theme is the better term.... Like Alegria was about the split and battle between old and young, the old order and new order. Each of the acts were also characters. The old ( i forget what they're called now) were the courtiers of the palace of Versailles and were bound to the old orders. The angels were the young ones and were bringing new light and new life to the world, trying to bring down the old order... So the people doing the trampoline stuff were the angels, therefore not only are they doing acrobatics but they're also telling a story.
Similar thing in Quidam... Quidam is no one yet he's everyone. He's the faceless stranger you meet in the street. So the story is that of a little lonely girl and her Quidam...
My point is that I like it because it's theatre and circus rolled into one...
