The bells are from the same sound effects tape because in 1970 when AHM was recorded, the sounds they used came from the library of tapes at Abbey Road.

During such sound effect splurges as DSOTM and The Wall, The Floyd (mainly Roger and Nick) made their own sound effects up.

Incidentally, the cash register they used for Money was bought by Abbey Road and is probably now an elaborate paper weight.

BTW, the sound effects tapes were not great in number. I think that birdsong on the start of Cirrus Minor is also played during Grantchester Meadows... and then is used on an alternative version of the Beatles song, Across The Universe.

It wasn't until the Floyd got into making their own that the catalogue increased.

Still doesn't explain why Dave used the bells with High Hopes. Nostalgia, perhaps?
