| Re: Help me find a good PF book/concert vid The Shaffner book (A Saucerful of Secrets: the Pink Floyd Story) is a good overall biography of the band. It filled in a lot of holes in my knowledge of the band when I read it. Nick is a bit hard on Roger, though. After reading it, I was somewhat anti-Waters for awhile, but I've since adjusted my thinking. Another Brick in the Wall - by Cliff Jones is pretty good about explaining the songs and the stories behind them. Although there are some errors in it. Pink Floyd: Through the Eyes of the Band, it's Fans, Friends and Foes by Bruno MacDonald is a book I plan to read. Bruno was the editor of the fanzine "The Amazing Pudding", and has tons of material about PF.
