Yeah, I'd also cheerfully accept a guy like Syd, but I think there's no one on this Earth who is like him or at least looks like him. The one person who is and looks like him is just Syd, but he's already 56 and named Roger Keith Barrett. So I think Syd is even dead - he was killed by the drugs, and just Roger's been remained...
