| Re: Good songwriter, bad musician I recently purchased ATD (Amused to Death), and I'd say I was disappointed to say the least. Pink Floyd without Roger Waters is like Kool-Aid without sugar, and vice versa. I mean I read lots about it and it sounded like a good buy, but I wasn't impressed. Sure Roger is a great lyricist and songwriter, but he really doesn't have anything without the band. I'd have to say my favorites are Dark Side through WYWH, and The Wall can be crammed in there I suppose. I don't really know if many people follow this type of sentiment or not. And if anyone wants to explain their opinion on Waters' solo career or his album ATD, then please do so.
And remember, "You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to, so that when they turn their backs on you, you'll get the chance to put the knife in."
