Why?

Well isn't it obvious?
All the stuff you mentioned is what makes the floyd the Floyd.

It's how they do things that make them superb.

It's not like their gonna go put out an album where the bass (which i think is what you meant) is slightly higher on one side then the other - and not on purpose.

And even if it wasn't on purpose - that's how they did it and they obviously liked it that way.
It is THEIR music not ours. So they make it how they like it - not the please us scum bag "fans"' (i know harsh but we are assholes sometimes) - no they do it cause they think it's good music and whatever they do is up to them

If you don't think their good enough to be "raved" about - or at least DSOTM, then don't listen to it.
I've heard alot of their OLD OLD interviews and it seems to me that their less concerned with everyone else and even themselves then just making an album that suits them, it was a success so then you try and criticise some small aspect you think is wrong.

No - not the way it works - you can comment on it - but questioning how they did it is wrong. You think it should be done better?
I donno if anyone here can come up with the awesome shit they came out with ESPECIALLY on this album!

So, you can have your thoughts and such - but don't be criticising the reasons we love this stuff.

----What can i say? You hit a soft spot there - that is DSOTM and Alan Parsons and the FLoyd are all close to my heart, so i found a need to reply like that- i'm usually much nicer :smile: ---
