| Re: Bands influenced by Floyd? All of OKC doesn't sound like Floyd. But take the song 'Exit music (for a film)' as an example. Quiet, calm acoustic guitar play at first, and singing vocals that really were made to cut your wrists to. And then a chorus that cries out sadness, Floyd did this a lot too. And then the drums, those bold drums kick in and Thom Yorke sings the most bitter words he'll ever sing, probably.
Ok, so I can't name *one* thing that makes me say OKC is a Floyd influenced album. But it's obvious. My instinct just tells me that. And you'll hear it too - anyone with a resemblance of a music ear will hear it. And the guitar solo in 'Lucky' is just a pure Floyd trip, though it doesn't reach Dave's standards.
Just listen to it, you'll know what I mean.
