We discussed this in the "Gilmour's first solo album thread", not that I care about it being repeated...just letting you know you are definitely not the only one who has noticed this. I realised it the day I bought Division Bell...and thought "Geez I must be into Floyd to pick this stuff up'!!!

I guess Gilmour thought it was such a nice lick that it shouldn't be wasted on an album that not many (comparatively) people will hear.
