| Re: password China Plate = Mate
Cockney ("true" Londoner) Rhyming Slang.
Whistle & Flute = Suit
Apples & Pears = Stairs
Example:
"I was up in me bedroom putting on me dicky (dirt = shirt) and Brightons (Rocks = socks) and daisies (roots = boots), ran down the apples (& pears), kissed the trouble (& strife = wife) and dustbins (lids = kids), grabbed me tit-for (-tat = hat) went up the frog (& toad = road) to see me old Chinas (plates) at the rub-a-dub (-dub = pub)."
Some cockney is bound to correct any of my glaring mistakes.
