Actually I agree with most on the list... is said most..
Yes, Floyd should be on there (so should Yes for that matter). Not only for the reasons you mentioned Floydvane, but as with many listed, because of their long reaching influence on modern music.

I have a hard time with Madonna & Jacko, they are more commercial than influential. And I never was a big fan of Patti Smith or Run-DMC, so I see room for PF to fit in.

But in the end.. it's just another damn list from Rolling Stone.
