yeah i know im asking for web sites right after saying how the internet sucks, and beleive me the irony is not wasted on me. I guess i should have said that google was not being much help, and i dont have the kind of time to go to the library.

the velvet underground will definitly be on the roster, as will the who. I mean how can you even mention a concept album without bringing up tommy.

my biggest problem is drawing a line between prog and art rock.
Obviously there is a difference in sound but i need to explain it in words.(not to mention i would like to know the technical difference for myself as well) is there a line there, or are the two too close to give a final word?
