this is what gilmour uses. not danelectro. im only used the sovtek version and i like it a lot. it gives it a good fuzz distortion. great for power chords and the like. also good for bluesy sounds. the only thing that didnt work for me was shredding. you dont get a good sound when you shred, like in death metal. it doesnt have the same bite as other distortion pedals. this is more 60s, 70s distortion type. though if death metal isnt your thing and you want fuzz, thisll do just fine. sound great for a tidbit of delay. gilmourish indeed.
