ive been playing for just over a year so i could hopefully give u tips from a beginers veiw. i started because i loved DGs playing so much.
i found
www.tabcrawler.com very useful, they have pretty much everything there. but if u want proper tabs then buy the books because they are correct and clear
if u practice enough, u can seriuosly play anything.
HIGH AND DRY by RADIOHEAD is very very easy to play. it only has 3 chords and has an easy solo, sounds good too!
the solo in HEY YOU is quite easy
IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE has a beautiful and quite easy acoustic solo.
probably the best thing is to buy the book for THE WALL, there are loads of guitar solos suitable for all guitarists
