I'm actually suprised to hear that you bought Piper first. Most people would have started out with DSOTM or The Wall(crap), but I like your decision very much. Hell, if I was you I'd buy them in order. Why not? |
Oh, thank you. After reading the biography on Pink Floyd, I was intrigued by what was said about that album. Also, I was just really curious. Plus, I did want to see how they started out sounding. I had thought about DSOTM. But again, my curiosity won out. I didn't know that A Collection of Dance Songs was really bad. I guess I haven't heard enough of Pink Floyd to recognize the edits, but I'll take your word for it.
I think Piper at the Gates of Dawn is a really good album. Syd Barrett was obviously incredibly talented and creative.
