Ummagumma to me is the album where they decided on the way they were going to to go...I mean The Narrow Way really signalled the start of the modern Floyd sound...where the rest of the solo stuff was sort of 'art school'....Roger might not like it but Dave had the vision there...and on Meddle it was there with echoes in full flight...It was like some sort of competition to find the way to go....I mean Dave kept Sid's vision intact insome sort of strange way....
