I can understand Nick using his 'sharp' tongue... from what I understand, Roger and Nick were close.
Wasen't Nick godfather to one of Roger's children?
The split must have felt bad for one of them...


Anyway, I respect Roger because he seems like a very smart, well-spoken man. I haven't called him a hypocrite yet, because I have seen nothing that he was exactly hypocritical about. I just believe that he was the classic all-around a**hole, with really strong views of various things, that he wasn't afraid to spout at any time he wished. Watching him in the Pompeii studio scenes shows that he has very hard views, concerning the 'great economic collapse', the secong string of pressings of Obscured by Clouds ("If you find sibalinces on the second string of pressings, you've got an extremely overactive imagination... because they're not there."), and even the tone of David's guitar ("toppy").
Obviously, he was a mean guy, with no feelings for other people's emotions.
But I don't think he's exactly hypocritical, unless someone wants to give me an incident or two.
