Re: Vocal Credits--A Saucerful of Secrets

According to Nick's book it's Norman Smith doing the harmonies on "Remember A Day!" This has made me rethink who is doing what.

Again, the vocalists are, in summation:

LTBML: Rick & Roger on "far far away", Dave on "then at last" (with somebody doing harmony on "Mildenhaaaall", maybe Dave double-tracked)

RAD: Rick, with Norman Smith on harmonies (and DRUMS! see Nick's book, p.115). The slide guitar might be Syd, but the "chhhsss" vocal noises are Roger.

STC: Mostly just Roger, but with Dave doing the "ah-ahhh-ah" before Roger's line "set the controls for the heart of the sun"

CC: Dave on "had a wooden leg", Roger on "he won it in the war". Rick + Dave + Roger + Nick do various harmonies and vocal noises throughout ("mrs clegg you must be proud of him") with Norman Smith "muttering 'git yore hair cut' on the fadeout" (again according to Nick's book, this is what causes the voices singing "corporal clegg" over and over to crack up)

ASOS: Dave+Rick, probably with Norman as well (doesn't sound like any of the Floyd voices singing the bass part)

SS: Rick, with himself and someone else (likely Dave, but maybe Norman) overdubbed on harmony "ah"s

JB: Syd, maybe Roger on "la-la-la-la"s but it could also be Syd double-tracked
