Thinking of this exchange made me curious to know what's behind comtemporary humankind decorating themselves with tattoos (I have a rose-entwined cross on my forearm), piercings and other gougings. :o

It's gotta be some instinctive need to prove our individuality, or something. Also to prove our bravery toward withstanding pain? Pierced nipples, pierced lips, etc.? Jesus, that's bravery. Pain happens with injuries and soforth, and we deal with it, but to go have a piercing done like that is having to
anticipate the pain.
BTW, Byron, is your tattoo a Rosicrucian thing? Also, saw your aforementioned picture; you
do cut a dashing figure, Monsoooer. Nice crotch-rocket too, glad to see you remain true to your Yankness in choosing good ol' "American Thunder".
