It's literally a topic that's been done to death and stands as a perfect example of the benefits of taking the time to read the Forum Guidelines & Rules of Conduct prior to posting whilst also liberally employing the
feature, especially if the member (new or otherwise) happens to be unfamiliar with the content of the rest of the site.
It's probably worth pointing out that the member who instigated the aforementioned thread was also exceedingly insulting from that word go and despite being asked by other Moderators to tone it down, paid no heed and was subsequently banned and the offensive posts were deleted.
I don't really agree with banning people and it's something that I very rarely do but I'm afraid that, in this case, I had no option.
