De Stijl is dutch for 'The Style'. It is absolutely not pronounced as De Shteel, seriously why the H? Day stijel is also wrong. It is pretty much pronounced as 'The Style'. Slighty different maybe but it would be impossible for an American to pronounce it the right way anyway.
