Re: Porcupine Tree tour dates

Haha thanks Lej. Yeah, I caught them on their recent tour, over in Boulder. They played in a small venue that could hold about 600. My friends and I managed to get about 10 feet from the stage. Man, was that an amazing show. Best live music I've ever seen. Some of the most talented musicians in modern music, no doubt. I knew Steven Wilson was a good guitar player, but man can he tear it up. He did some amazing improv solos. Also, their somewhat new drummer, Gavin Harrison, was spot on, never missing a beat; quite a powerful driving force. Now I know why he's called the drum world's "best kept secret." Now that I think of it, they were all very impressive.

Before the concert, they had an instore signing, where I got a live album signed. There were plans for them to do an acoustic set, but Steven (he sings as well) was having throat issues, and had to save it for the show. I was a bit dissappointed, but I can't complain. You could tell he was having a rough time the first few songs, but his voice came back and it was great.

They also announced plans for another US tour in October...you'd better believe I'll be going again!
