Yeah, blu-ray coupled with the cell processor (I've been hearing some wild stuff about it, like the ability to share processor power with another computer; but who knows how much of it is realistic) will make the PS3 a force to be reckoned with.
But I've been hearing rumors that Sony hasn't decided on whether to put a HDD in it standard. I think that if Sony fails to do this, that would likely be the stupidest move possible. Every next gen console should have a HDD! This factor alone has made me question my next gen purchase (well, I'm not sure if I'll be sticking to PC), and that's saying a lot since I am a huge PS2 supporter, and an XBOX despiser.
