The best cover I ever heard in my life is R.P.W.L.'s version of Cymbaline. In the middle of the song the include an 'intermezzo' featuring a Hammond organ solo like the one in the bluesy part of the first song of 'Atom Heart Mother'. It is a bit slower, making the song much more sensible. I cried when I first heard the song.
I discovered the song on the following nice CD which will surely be of interest to you:
‘Signs of Life: A Tribute To Pink Floyd’
This double-CD is distributed by Paengg Distribution in Germany:
http://www.paengg.de/
The order number of the CD is PV 478 and the price 20,90 EURO.
I was completely dazzled when I heard the CD for the first time, especially CD1, track 6:
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VERSION OF CYMBALINE I EVER HEARD, 11:28 MINUTES !!!
That’s why I would like to submit an MP3 of this song on this site bigger than 102400 bytes. I have to find out how.
