Waters lyrics are good by the standard of rock lyrics, though poor by the standards of contemporary poetry. His lyrics are to the point, but a little bit pedestrain. He was not gifted in the way Syd Barrett was. |
Interesting... When an example of Waters lyrics appears, it`s about war. He just wrote too much stuff about the war, like it was he`s only muse. Anyway, he`s lyrics are deeper than Barret`s.
