Well, Dave seems cool at times, I mean he gives tons to charity and such... But his personality... I've been reading a few interviews of him lately, and he acts too smug... Sure, he's a good guitarist, but far from being the best, but he acts as if he is. Also, I wouldn't go promoting myself as "The Guitar and Voice of Pink Floyd", because he didn't do everything. And half the stuff he didn't write post-DSOTM. Half the Floyd fans nowadays have never heard any of the albums before DSOTM (Except maybe Meddle.) So really, I find that promoting yourself like that comes off as a bit smug, to me, at least.

But, also, Roger did come off as quite of an asshole back then in The Wall-Final Cut era, but he looks as if he's pretty well off it. I mean, did you see his face when the reunited Floyd played the Live 8 show? He had the biggest smile on! So I don't know, maybe Roger is coming off better, personality wise. As far as the music goes, I prefer Roger's music more... His is more rocky, and has more of a "take that" attitude. Gilmour is a lot more poppish, but shows more musicianship. Also, he seems to ask his wife for help with making the lyrics/music more than the actual bandmates themselves. The 1987 and post Floyd seem just like more Gilmour solo albums.
