And half the stuff he didn't write post-DSOTM. Half the Floyd fans nowadays have never heard any of the albums before DSOTM (Except maybe Meddle.) So really, I find that promoting yourself like that comes off as a bit smug, to me, at least.

But, also, Roger did come off as quite of an asshole back then in The Wall-Final Cut era, but he looks as if he's pretty well off it. I mean, did you see his face when the reunited Floyd played the Live 8 show? He had the biggest smile on! So I don't know, maybe Roger is coming off better, personality wise. As far as the music goes, I prefer Roger's music more... His is more rocky, and has more of a "take that" attitude. Gilmour is a lot more poppish, but shows more musicianship. Also, he seems to ask his wife for help with making the lyrics/music more than the actual bandmates themselves. The 1987 and post Floyd seem just like more Gilmour solo albums.

Utter Bull$hit, find me one interview where Gilmour claims or gives the impression hes the best guitarist about (and as far as him being far from it, some of us here would agree that he is the best guitarist about).

Hes always come across as shy to me, in most of the interviews ive read he seems quite reluctant to take praise, so I dont know where you're getting that from.

As far as the "Voice and guitar of Pink floyd" goes, most people probably know pink floyd for Dark Side of the Moon, and he did sing nearly everything on that album so I dont see a problem with it, its not like hes saying "hey, im the only guy who sang for pink floyd".

Do you not think its arrogant of Waters to call himself "the creative genius of Pink floyd", you could interpret that as him saying that he was the most important member of the band. I wouldnt though, in my opinion its ok for him say this because are far as ideas for all the albums were concerned, he was the most creative. Just like i think its ok for gilmour to say "the voice and guitar of pink floyd" because he IS the pink floyd guitarist, and he has been on vocals for so many of the songs.
