I've often wondered what Roger's response would be if you drew his attention to the fact that, without the death of folk like his daddy, England would have fallen to the Nazi's.

Anyway...I agree it tends to be a little futile professing to know what is going on their heads (although I have been know to dabble in that all too tempting pastime myself).
