There is much merit in what you suggest, but considering the correct usage AND spelling of most other words, I don't think in this case it is applicable. I suspect it's SMS text-speak.
In the end, it's hardly that important. Certainly not as important as making CB feel welcome and encouraging him/her to share and enjoy.
But "dis," "da" and "dat," are f**king appalling, IMO, and more likely to encourage non-English speakers and writers to believe that it is acceptable English, when it patently "ain't."
