Of bad taste, yes, but what reason do you have to defend her? That she was a human being? Human beings die every day, wholly decent ones, too, so what reason do I have to pity her? The Spanish make light of death every year, it's a national holiday, does that make them of bad taste? Of course, that's different, they celebrate the life of the dead, not insult them like I am, but in the case of our Anna, there isn't much to celebrate. |
