Gene Upshaw the exectutive director of National Football League players union commenting on retired players complaint about connection of concussions while playing ,to Alzheimer's disease later in life... "the brain damaged old-timers can complain all they want,they don't pay my salary."

EDIT: this topic should be a thread all by itself...There is proof that players in high-contact sports suffer from Post-Concussion Syndrone leading to early stages of Alzeimers Disease...the University of North Carolina tested 2,552 retired NFL players and found 24% had suffered at least 3 concussions making them 2 to 3 more likely to suffer from depression and 3 times as likely to have mild cognitive impairment,a precursor to Alzeimers Disease...
