EDIT: this topic should be a thread all by itself...There is proof that players in high-contact sports suffer from Post-Concussion Syndrone leading to early stages of Alzeimers Disease...the University of North Carolina tested 2,552 retired NFL players and found 24% had suffered at least 3 concussions making them 2 to 3 more likely to suffer from depression and 3 times as likely to have mild cognitive impairment,a precursor to Alzeimers Disease...
