Re: Special 40th anniversary edition of Piper

Yeah, I think it must have depicted a cut-out of someone or something that couldn't be included for fear of litigation. The book is fantastic, otherwise... lots of excellent unseen photos of the band at work in the studio.

I'm also enjoying the "new" music on Disc 3 (really only two tracks... the alternate versions of "Interstellar" and "Matilda Mother", which are fantastic!)... it's nice to have it all collected in such a nice package nonetheless.

Now, all we need is a similar treatment for A Saucerful of Secrets... it also has a rather different mono mix that very few people have heard, and several B-sides, which need remastering. Although Nick poo-poo'ed the idea this week... maybe we can still convince him somehow. A letter-writing campaign maybe - or perhaps a complete smash success on the part of this release will be enough!
