| Re: Pulse tour back in 1994 Like Byron I've been a Pink Floyd fan (and I mean serious fan) since before Chazz was born. Great that he's picked up on the early stuff not just the live "best of" albums.
Floyd shows were amazing. From Dark Side with its crashing planes to The Wall, truly original. No-one had seen the like. (Should add here that I've only seen The Wall - I may be old, but not that old !).
Pulse, well we've seen it all before. Essentially a tribute band playing someone else's material using someone else's ideas for live shows.
Chazz - Roger Waters has put on some spectacular solo performances. Not just the Wall in Berlin, Pros & Cons was a large scale production set in a bedroom with a huge TV, back projection and inflatables.
KAOS was a very different show live. Done as a radio show with a DJ, the KAOS album was included with other Floyd greats. During the interview there was a phone in, where the audience could call Roger on the stage. |
