| Re: The Wall Analysis Well, "The Wall," came out when I entered secondary school. I knew enough about Pink Floyd then to know that they were a, "big deal," but at the time, where I lived KISS was the big thing, and I paid more attention to them in those days, being from common stock which were fertile fields for them ,much like peter Framton, ac/dc and such. I don't listen to Kiss music now that I'm far removed from primary school, but the wall actually put me, "off" from Pink Floyd for a while, as I found most of the music one big downer. When the movie came out, we were told that it was cool to watch it high, so my primary mates and I smoked a pile of hash and went to a wide screen theater to view it, and I still found it to be a bit of a buzz kill and too.
I had to have a wiser soul in high school feed me some fungus products and blotter paper, lie down in a darkened room, and listen to all of the "other" albums, WHAT I HAD BEEN MISSING!!!! but I didn't, and still don't much care for the wall. Its ok for those that do, just too dismal for me.
