Welcome back Shaye, the comeback special was an truly amazing event, some say on par with Live8. I'm really sorry you missed it. The part of Ed Sullivan was played by Gerald the Mouse (the only one of us who closely resembled Ed) who promised " a really big show tonite". How right he was! I went through two costume changes that night, starting off with my black leather outfit which had the crowd gasping at my tightly honed physique. I could hear them chanting "hunka hunk" as I came on the stage to the strains of Also Sprach Zarathusa. The second half of the show featured my white diamante jumpsuit, in commemoration of my days at the International in Vegas. My song list included many of my hits. If you send me $20 I will forward you a CD of the event and as a bonus I with throw in a copy of 'Axie sings the Gospel' ( as he only can). |
