Speaking of 'ass on fire' ...I'm getting my taste buds all worked up for a curry at my favourite restaurant. Many people in the world may be unaware that curry has deposed haggis as the Scottish national dish.
It's a kind of a macho thing in these parts to go for as hot a curry as your taste buds can stand. This is no problemat all to an old Bengal Lancer like myself, who can wolf down a vindaloo without any ill effects. The following day is another story ( think Johnny Cash -Ring of Fire)..and one can see the reason for it being named Gandhi's revenge!
I noticed on my visits to the States that there weren't many Curry Houses? Has curry hit the USA yet?
