First, it was one guy (Chuck Buckman), not multiple guys. Second, it was an accident due to obscured vision (another car in the way). Third, it's called motor
racing, which is considered slightly more dangerous than normal driving. Sometimes people get hurt or killed, and it's part of the assumed risk of participation.
So, it doesn't look like there will be a scapegoat this time.
