But back on topic. I actually enjoy some (most) of the off topic stuff. If the folks who like to chat took it off-line, we would know less about what makes them tick, their senses of humor, their buttons to push to piss them off, etc...
I know it makes it hard to find a good discussion sometimes based on the posted topic and where it often leads, but hey - it's only the internet, and it's only Pink Floyd, and it's only for fun (except for Paulo, Patrick, FWr, and the moderators - who work their tails off so that the rest of us can enjoy the fruits of their labor). I just enjoy talking to and learning from the likes of Driven, Fulghum, BoaB, etc...
I've even learned stuff from some of the off-topic banter and direction-bending. It'd be a shame (and damn-near impossible) to peel it off into separate topics.
