I don't like Rage at all...

My favorite bands, and the ones I recomend are:
Pink Floy (of course)
Nirvana (Lithium rocks)
Red Hot Chili Peppers (Great Guitar and Bass work)
Xutos e Pontapés (It's a portuguese rock band, they don't sing in english, but their music is really great. They survived 20 years of pop music here, so really try to download some of their songs. If you know portuguese, thats even better)

After naming these bands, I can only say that the main reason for getting into Floyd was because of their guitar work. The melodies or the lyrics dind't get to me at once, but the magnificent Any Color You Like / Breath 2nd Reprise solo wsa what really got me to listen to Floyd
