Re: Pink Floyd Fan Music Recommendations

I have a very big taste in music, so this could take a while:

Pink Floyd- Duh Fav. Album- Animals

Bob Dylan- All of his stuff. He is without question music's greatest genius and the most important man in rock. Fav. Album- Bringing It All Back Home

Led Zeppelin- All of their stuff. Achillies Last Stand is my favorite song from them. Fav. Album- Physical Graffiti

The Rolling Stones- They should have died years ago, but they continue make good music. Fav. Album- Exile On Main Street

The Beatles- Really overrated. They still made really good music, though. Fav. Album- Abbey Road

Radiohead- The best band of the 90's without question. OK Computer is my favorite album ever and Kid A is a close 2nd. BTW, Pablo Honey is really good. Fav. Album- OK Computer

Yes- Really underrated. Fav. Album- Fragile

Jethro Tull- I've only listened to Thick As A Brick which is really good. Fav. Album- Thick As A Brick

Metallica- They made a lot of good music in the 80's, even though they suck now. Fav. Album- Ride The Lightning

Beck- Very experimental stuff, and it's really good. Fav. Album- Mutations

The Who- Without Tommy and Quad, there would be no Wall. Fav. Album- Quadrophenia

Velvet Underground- America's Pink Floyd, pretty much. Fav. Album- Loaded

Bruce Springsteen- Really good music and no gimmicks. Fav. Album- Greetings From Asbury Park, NJ

Caravan- They sound a lot like Pink Floyd. Fav. Album- For Girls Who Grow Plump In The Night.

Black Sabbath- Dark, heavy music, that I really like. Fav. Album- Paranoid

The Smashing Pumpkins- They were reallt good. Too bad they broke up. Fav. Album- Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness

Phew, that was a lot.
