| Re: David Gilmour In Concert DVD: opinions. Overall, it was a nice show. I do wish he would have used the show from 1/18/02. I like the way he plays/sings Shine On much better. Also, he looks rather rough. Like he just woke up from an all-nighter!! Have you noticed that at some parts of the show his hands don't sync with the music? It seems a little "slow" to me. Maybe I'm just used to the PULSE video where everything matches up. Also, they should have left more of the audience questions.(When's the next Floyd album?) I think it would have given it a more personal and unedited feel to it. Don't get me wrong, I absoloutely love it. But I would change a few things for myself. I would have included "A Pillow of Winds" for one. But as I've said before in another post, Shakespeare's Sonnet 18 is awesome. Simple I know, but very powerful.
And about the boys getting together and doing some shows like this? I'd for surely go (if they came to the States!). But I'd be much more excited if the did it like the good ol' days!!
