OK, I finally got around to replying to this thread. Rick is my favorite PF member, probably because I play the piano/ keyboard in my spare time. He was definitely a key contributor to the Pink Floyd sound; I especially like "Great Gig in the Sky". It's too bad he was forced out of the group, but when he came back, he gave us the gem that is "Wearing the Inside Out". I haven't heard any of his solo material, but I heard he's coming out with a new album soon. I'll have to check that out.
