... I like this ballpark of the discussion. I can't say that I've given the metaphysical merits of The Wizard Of Oz a great deal of thought, but wouldn't be surprised that, in the same way that Roger Waters makes sense of his/our world via the lyrical concerns of DSOTM (as a whole), the author of TWOOz makes some connections to his world view via that piece of work. I mean, it's not exactly 'The Fountainhead' (or is it ?), but nothing's created in a vacuum right ? Anyhoo, if you consider Money's place in the original vinyl format, it makes a cracker of an opener to side two ("ching, ching ....") and the content dovetails nicely with the other issues explored by Waters.
