| Re: When the Music's Over... I weep everytime I hear Barcelona which was sung by Freddie Mercury and Montsserat Caballe. Freddie's voice just overpowers the whole house when we paly that song very emotional stuff.
I also find it hard to contain emotion whenever I hear anything by Stevie Ray Vaughan, I find it sooo incredilbly sad when i consider the fact that he had the whole world at his feet and he was getting ready to reawake blues at a time when it had become bland and the world was swept by punk. Eric Clapton says "The first time I heard Stevie Ray Vaughan I thought: whoever this is is going to shake the world"
I also miss Albert King and Miles Davis but I find Stevie's and Freddie's daths more tragic becuase they were still young and could have contributed soo much to our world whereas the other died of old age. Still I miss them all but I think their music will always stay as a reminder of what we had even if it was for a short while.
