you want another weird family member? My Uncle Bruce (actually Tim's father)

He is a compulsive liar, but of the funniest sort. I mean, i give credit to the guy for believing himself, but seriously! If you are going to lie, at least make it remotely believable. Some of Bruce's more memorable tales -

1. He was telling me that they are going to build an underwater tunnel from Australia to New Zealand. Now, i dont know exactly when this is going to take place - or how they are going to put petrol stations underwater... or motels... but according to Bruce, its truth.

2. He's always talking about when he was in the Army. This particular tale involved when he was in the bomb squad (as if) and he had to drive a truck full of explosives from Melbourne to Brisbane (roughly 2000km's) at 20km/hr with five patrol cars in from, and six behind, and two helicopters following him... and he did it in a day.
