Thank you, Wrightkeys, for your kindness in helping me to "get the lay of the land", so to speak. At this stage, I am only considering a lot of options, and I suspect it will be a few years at least before I even get a really good synthesiser, let alone a Hammond organ. Like you said (and I am agreeing with you 100%), research is key, and I want to be as familiar as possible with what's out there before I even get really serious on a purchase. Whatever happens, I can tell you I will have to be able to hear the instruments in person.

BTW, because I'm ignorant, could you confirm this for me--I assume the digital models might be a little less picky about the type of speaker? Or would it still require the same things you outlined for me earlier?
