Hey Wrightkeys

I am still unclear about the synths. The beginning of Shine On... the orchestral part. How did Rick get it to sound like that. Did he use a Hammond Organ? What did this sound like live in the 70's before digital technology and Jon Carin? Why is pts. 6-9 never included in todays live set?
