Still haven't got a hold of a copy yet but I know it is Barbet Schroeder's debut directorial ( he also did Barfly,Single White Female,Desperate Measures-- just to name some of the more popular films) about two free-spirited young lovers who live an open lifestyle leading to ba ba ba bum--inevidable tragedy.
Some naive German student falls for an American blond babe junkie-gets ivolved with drugs himself-succumbs to addiction....
