Have never seen Pink Floyd in concert. Am in my twenties and unfortunately got into Floyd too late to see them live. Instead, I just cry hysterically when I listen to live recordings of mp3s or certain songs I like... just like I probably would have done as an obsessed female groupie at their concerts... god only knows what would happen if I were to actually ever meet them! I'd probably faint. And, although it sounds pathetic, my only defense is to say that the music is just so emotional that it breaks me sometimes.
I also prefer Dave over Roger in terms of SOLO work, but would jump at any chance to see either of them. Roger isn't touring in America so that's out now (anyone know WHY he's boycotting us?) but hopefully, after I move to Germany in a year and a half, it'll be a little easier to go see Dave in one of his many European solo gigs... if he's still playing then.
